This is a reprint of an oil painting from late 1800.
The Killam family has been ship builders in Nova Scotia for generations.
Recently one of their family members wanted a copy of the painting he had.
This is the result. After some time the YARMOUTH COUNTY MUSEUM AND ARCHIVES
(http://yarmouthcountymuseum.ednet.ns.ca/killam.html) also wanted a copy of this oil painting since they didn't have the original. And of course we provided a copy for them too.
We did take a photo of the painting and after color calibration and enhancing we could print it and get it very very close to the look of the original oil painting.

Photo Restoration
This is the original photo we received from a customer.
It had three different shades of sepia, it had been folded and some of it had been exposed to the sun. It was ripped in two pieces and heavily folded in two other places.
